Honors Activities Assignment
As a continuing assignment throughout the semester, you
will be expected to attend outside engagements in an attempt to relate the class
material to real-life experiences and ideas. You must complete five of these
assignments before the end of the semester. Each will be worth 10 points.
- You will attend activities outside of the classroom.
This may include speakers/lectures, discussions, occasional movies, cultural
presentations, etc. There are many opportunities on campus as well as within
the community. If you are unsure whether or not something will qualify-check
with me.
- As you attend, relate the material to the information we
have discussed in class.
- You will write a reaction paper (around 1 page)
explaining the activity you attended, how it pertained to class, and you
thoughts/interpretations.
- Papers should be typed, 12-point font, black ink, 1-inch
margins and stapled.
- Papers are due within 1 week of the activity you
attend.
- All assignments are due by Dec. 1st
